Anna Griffiths
Anna is a social entrepreneur and works as an enterprise development associate at Participle. In 1999, she co-founded PhotoVoice (http://www.photovoice.org), which works to train disenfranchised groups in photographic and communication skills so that they can express themselves and develop the confidence and networks to actively advocate for change. During her eight years managing the organization, it won a number of awards for its ground-breaking projects and methodology, including best new UK charity in 2004. Anna was awarded the Skoll Scholarship in social entrepreneurship and completed an MBA at Oxford University’s Said Business School in 2009. She also holds an MA in Social Anthropology and Development from the University of Edinburgh and has trained as a print journalist.
